High Security Wire
Concertina razor wire is specified by blade profile, core wire, tape thickness, coil diameter, clips per loop and stretched length. BTO-22 is common for perimeter topping, while larger CBT profiles suit higher-security applications.
Define barbed wire, concertina or fence topping, then confirm type, core, clips, layout, coating and safe packing.
Concertina razor wire combines a high-tensile core wire with punched razor tape and clips adjacent loops into an expandable barrier coil.
For quotation comparison: Confirm destination legal and safety requirements; blades and barbs require controlled packing, handling and installation.
Specifications
Common profiles include BTO-10, BTO-22, BTO-30, CBT-60 and CBT-65 with 450–980 mm coil diameters and galvanized or stainless options.
| Buying specification | Common options | State in RFQ / drawing |
|---|---|---|
| Blade profile | Razor-tape profile selected for the approved security requirement | Profile code or dimensioned blade drawing |
| Core wire and tape | Core wire and formed tape work as one product construction | Material, nominal dimensions and attachment method |
| Coil diameter | Packed and deployed coil geometry selected for the installation | Nominal diameter and measurement condition |
| Loops and deployed length | Loop count and clip pattern determine stretched geometry | Loop count, clip count/pattern and approved deployed length |
| Clips and joining | Clips and end connections control coil assembly | Clip material, quantity, overlap and end connection |
| Material and finish | Galvanized or stainless construction selected for exposure and compatibility | Material grade, coating and test requirement |
| Packing and handling | Compressed coils require protected, labelled handling units | Coils per package, compression, wrap, labels and safety handling |
