Gabion System
A woven gabion is a flexible double-twist wire-mesh container. Unlike welded gabion, it can tolerate local deformation, making it suitable for riverbanks, revetments and ground that may settle.
Choose welded or double-twist mesh by deformation, finish, terrain and assembly method, then confirm basket, joining and coating.
Woven gabions use double-twist hexagonal wire mesh, selvedge wire, diaphragms and lacing wire to form flexible stone-filled structures.
For quotation comparison: Civil design, fill stone and foundation belong to the project; a basket quotation does not replace engineering design.
Specifications
A common system uses 80 × 100 mm double-twist mesh, approximately 2.7 mm mesh wire, heavier selvedge wire and modular baskets with internal diaphragms.

Confirm in the RFQ: Mesh type, mesh/selvedge/lacing wire, coating style, basket, diaphragms, fasteners, stone and installation design.
Define in the quotation which dimensions, structure, finish and packing must be checked, together with the dated records you require before release.
Packing and RFQ
Baskets are compressed and bundled flat with diaphragms and lacing materials listed by unit size.
